Tank Lining Primers & Cements
Endurabond Primer #1 is a green primer for use on various substrates (metal, plywood, concrete & PVC) that, when used in conjunction with Intermediate #2 cover coat, provides tenacious bonds to natural rubber with #3 Tack cement. This cement system is suitable for pressure, chemical or open steam curing of tank linings.
Endurabond Intermediate #2 is a red intermediate overcoat to be used over Endurabond Primer #1. When used in conjunction with Primer #1 and #3 Tack cement, this cement system provides a tenacious bond to natural rubber. This cement system is suitable for pressure, chemical or open steam curing of tank linings.
Endurabond Tack #3 is a black tacky tie cement to be used over Endurabond Primer #1 and Intermediate #2 when bonding natural rubber to a substrate. Tack #3 provides a tenacious green strength and is particularly good in sharp radius areas such as flanges. Its low temperature activation makes it suitable for use with autoclave, open steam and chemical cure systems.
Endurabond Primer P-100 is a solvent based vulcanizing primer cement used with Endurabond Intermediate I-100 cover cement for bonding synthetics to various metals. The Endurabond Primer/Intermediate cement system is suitable for open steam curing of tank linings when used with appropriate tack cements.
Endurabond Intermediate I-100 is a covercoat adhesive for bonding synthetic elastomers such as, EPDM, butyl, neoprene, nitrile and hypalon compounds to Endurabond Primer P-100 primed metal during vulcanization and functions as a splice cement for bonding cured and uncured rubber compounds to themselves and other elastomers.
Endurabond 103 is a solvent based white natural rubber tack cement for bonding white natural rubber tank linings. All ingredients in the cement stock meet FDA. For best results, it shall be used with Endurabond Primer #1 and Endurabond Intermediate #2 vulcanizing primers. Endurabond 103, with appropriate primers, is suitable for pressure and open steam curing of Enduraflex tank linings having a natural tie gum.
Endurabond 201 is a solvent based neoprene rubber tack cement for bonding neoprene rubber tank linings. For best results, it shall be used with Endurabond P-100 and Endurabond I-100 based vulcanizing primers. Endurabond 201, with the appropriate primers, is suitable for open steam curing of Enduraflex tank linings.
Endurabond 202 is a solvent based neoprene rubber tack cement for bonding neoprene rubber tank linings. For best results, it shall be used with Endurabond Primer P-100 and Endurabond Intermediate I-100 based vulcanizing primers. Endurabond 202, with appropriate primers, is suitable for open steam curing of Enduraflex neoprene tank linings.
Endurabond 500 is a solvent based tack cement for bonding chlorobutyl rubber tank linings. For best results, it shall be used with Endurabond Primer P-100 and Endurabond Intermediate I-100 based vulcanizing primers.
Endurabond 600 is a solvent based EPDM rubber tack cement for bonding EPDM rubber tank linings. For best results, it shall be used with Endurabond Primer P-100 and Endurabond Intermediate I-100 based vulcanizing primers.
Endurabond 800 is a solvent based nitrile tack cement for bonding nitrile rubber tank linings. For best results, it shall be used with Endurabond Primer #1 and a 50/50 blend of P100 and 800 as an intermediate. Endurabond 800, with the appropriate primers, is suitable for pressure and open steam curing of Enduraflex nitrile tank linings.
Endurabond 2002 (Part A & B) is an epoxy resin specified where a superior coating/sealant is required. Endurabond 2002 is ideal for quick maintenance and repair projects. Endurabond 2002 will cure at ambient temperature conditions to provide exceptional structural strength. Endurabond 2002 is formulated to be adhesive, hard and tough and function as a preparatory coating for concrete and porous steel surfaces prior to rubber lining.
