SUPERIOR QUALITY LININGS FOR SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE AND OTHER BLEACHES

Today, numerous manufacturing companies design and supply comprehensive lines of water treatment and fluid processing equipment for industrial water purification. BLAIR'S Enduraflex^TM performance linings for sodium hypochlorite and other bleaches are:

VE-526-CPE BC, is a Black, Non Sloughing and Non Sticky, Bleach Resistant Lining makes it ideal for bleach service. It has a CPE surface and a chlorobutyl back side.

VE-516-BC, is a Black chlorobutyl lining with heat, weather, chemical and oxidation resistance, and bleach service. VE-516-BC offers easy application in large storage tanks and tank trailers with a lapped or butt and cap seam construction. It now comes with a butyl tie gum for easy installation. VE-516-BC is a 50 durometer chlorobutyl, is also ideal for process and storage units. Chlorobutyl has excellent oxidation, heat, chemical and water resistance. VE-536-BC is a popular alternative; because it is the same chlorobutyl lining with a natural rubber tie gum.

VE-642-BGC, Black chlorobutyl VE-642-BGC Tribond^TM construction is recommended for wet chlorine and sodium hypochlorite (under 10%) make-up vessels. In sodium hypochlorite make-up units, VE-642-BGC, 60 Shore A durometer, chlorobutyl rubber is specially compounded for oxidation and chemical resistance, while the hard 90 durometer center core rubber resists chlorine permeation.

BLAIR'S "TACKY BACK BONDING METHOD" on VE-642-BGC offers a unique bonding tie gum to ensure a positive bond even for non-pressure atmospheric cure. Bond values for exhaust cured achieved levels of 50-70 pounds per inch. No adhesive or solvent is required on the tie gum backing for application. Thus, "TACKY BACK" tie gum reduces the environment VOC's by 25%.

VE-530-BEP, a 60 durometer EPDM, is designed for a pure bleach and will not produce black speck contamination. It has the same excellent bleach and water resistance with the added feature of being food grade FDA compliance.

All Enduraflex^TM linings are designed for minimal shrinkage in cure and offer good thermal flexibility. Contact BLAIR RUBBER's technical staff for assistance in selecting the correct lining for specific service conditions.
